Boreen Point Residence

WINNER of the BDAQ state building design award for the best use of colorbond steel. This project is an industrial inspired holiday residence on a long narrow water facing stepped block that was previously a carpark. The clients were looking for an edgy look with low maintenance, they wanted a private escape and a building that captured the natural environment, outdoor living and water views. The building is designed in two double storey pods, the building ends open to join a floating central entertaining deck linking the public and private spaces and bluring the boundary between the internal spaces and external decks. It is a multifunctional building that is sleek and simple a building to relax and entertain in.
